Perfect Pass 6.5NG upgrade group buy?

Since the bimini group buy went so well I'm curious as to how much interest there would be in organizing a group buy for the PP 6.5NG upgrade, mainly this one:

"Upgrading the Dash Display and system software to the new 2007 Multi Line Display is easy. For $265 + shipping we will ship you a Display to match your boat and a new Intel Chip for your Master Module. This Version 6.5NG (26) is our latest offering for 2007."

I know there are a few people out there that have the older PP display and system, but would like to upgrade to the multi-line display (I'm one of them).

Would there be any interest in doing this?

I would consider for the right price.

I haven't done so yet, but you should try Brandon at Central Kentucky Inboards. I believe that Luke (or it may have been Jeff) said that he was offering a discount on PP for PN members.

Here is a link to one of the posts that I found:

Got a qoute from CKY Inboards - $255 + shipping.

Is the markup on PP not high enough to receive any sort of discount for a group buy? If not, no worries, I jsut wanted to throw it out there to see if there is any interest on getting a gb going.

Pick up my new boat a 2005 SN196 tomorrow (pics to follow), it is replacing my 2002 SN196, not sure what version of PP it has onboard, but will probaly be looking to upgrade to the latest in the coming weeks, so will watch this one with added interest.

            Hey BASC,
If this happens, how about combining shipping to the UK to share the shipping cost. I would be interested.

I got mine for 199 + ship direct from perfect pass last summer. Only way to go, unless the prices just went up.

Yeah, the price is now the $265 plus shipping (so I'm guessing that if you and others got it for $199 awhile back, there must be room for a decent discount on a group buy  )

PP will match your gauge face/bezel to what came on your year of boat if they can, so if you do any group buy be sure to have the ability to specify your year. They matched my 2000 gray background/black bezel, white Nautiques logo gauges perfectly.

                    Joel,

Thought I read somewhere the newer version no longer supports either the water or air temp feature, do you know if this is the case? My boat displays that info on my Faria tach or speedo however not sure if this is a function of PP or not.
