Spare Trailer Tire

hey guys and girls-

I have a 95 Super Sport, and I am looking to do a lot of road trips this year, and I want to put a spare tire on the trailer somewhere. Any ideas? have any of you done this, its a DHL trailer, tandem axle.

Could it be a DHM? If so go onto their web-site and they have some mounts or give them a call. Even if you have another brand trailer they can take care of you. They are not located in the best part of town so you might want to schedule some service at WCCC and have them take the boat while your trailer is being worked on that may be a great way to "kill two stones with one bird". I had them take care of a trailer repair and I could not be happier with their customer service or the quality of work.

Get one of the mounts that has a spare hub on it. That way you have a spare tire and hub if you have any problems on the road. I actually carry two spares when I am on a road trip. Been there, done that, and don't want to do it again.
Also, make sure you have a jack that will work with the trailer, as well as tools for the lug nuts and hub. Sounds simple, but it is very easy to forget when you are getting stuff together for the trip.

If it's a DHM just take it there and they will hook you up.......I had a lot of stuff done to my DHM.
