    Factory Seat Source?

I'm looking for a matching rear seat and combing pads for my '93 Ski Nautique. This boat was a promo boat that never had this option. The local dealer quoted $281 each for the combing pads and $1,570 for the seat (ouch, that's $2,132!). The dealer orders to match the orignial configuration, material and color scheme. The order is then forwarded ( I think) to the same company the makes the seats for the new boats. Can anyone help with a less expensive source? Maybe someone knows the name of the company so I can just contact them? Also, I think the years between about 1990 and 1994 would work.

I don't know if you wakeboard or not but if you do you could add one of those sack seats and kill two birds with one stone. It would not of course be a matching seat but it would add a lot of weight to the boat as well as provide a place to sit. I forgot where I saw one but I do know they make them.

Thanks, but I don't wakeboard and the extra weight would ruin the slalom wake. If I could even find a used seat that doesn't match my color, I could have it recovered.

No, haven't found a seat yet. The color is white with gray and dark red stripes. What color do you have?
