Trailer for 236/ is this normal?

We just got our new 236 and when i went to go see it i noticed that the bottom/side of the boat is only about 3/4 of and inch away from the wheel fenders. i am worried that when i try to put the boat on the trailer it will hit the fender if i am not straight. Did i get the wrong trailer? Or is this normal?or will the other bunks stop the boat from going to far to one side if i messup a little?

(I do have experience driving on to a trailer cause i have owned a 81 SN for 27 year)

Its fine. Mine sometimes rest on the fenders when the wind is blowing sideways. When I notice it I just back in and let the boat reset its self. The upright guides will help also.

What brand trailer is it? Do you have any pictures?

Bigdan, i have a prestige trailer, and mine may have less than 3/4" but it is still no problems yet!

Yes... I did buy a new boat....

Mine has about 3/4 inch also

UM needless to say I LOVE MY 230. I have allot of crude coments to make about it but I'll just say I'm glad to be back in a Nautique again. :grin:

230 was my choice as well, pick mine up this Fri.......if it doesnt stop raining here I might be able to ride it home!!!
