    POP Bags

Anybody using the POP bags for ballast? How do they hold up? I could use a 211 recipe for general weight placement (excluding bodies ).

I've been using Pop Products bags for about a month now and am very happy with them. They seem to be very well made, heavy duty canvas and straps. I am expecting them to last for a long time. Also, the owner Troy is super helpful and responsive.

Everything BP22 said. Troy is the man. I've had 14 of them for over a year now, and they're as good as new. Go for it.

          Can't ski,

For boarding load the 211 as far back as you can. I fill the rear tanks, belly about 3/4 full, push my crew all the way back, two pop bags in each of the rear storage. Don't put people in the bow if you can keep them in the boat, weight in the front flattens out the wake too much.

For skiing put the bags all the way up in the bow, move extra passengers into the bow and drain all tanks.

For surfing belly tank full, one rear tank full (on the surf side) and all pop bags on the surf side. Run the wakeplate on #2.

I need to get more pop bags for my buddies Malibu...
