Bilge Pump Protection in Ski Locker

Anyone come up with a way to protect the bilge pump located in the "ski locker" of a 211? Seems like its subject to damage from things bouncing around and hitting it in rough waters.

Familyman, You are correct about it taking damage. I broke the base mount of mine with a locker sac. Re-glued it and all was well. Not sure how to avoid it, but not too big a deal.
