    Boat Storage

I am looking at building a boat storage facility at a local lake that does not really have any "indoor" storage. I was going off of the concept of building mini-storage units that are designed for someone to pull their boat in and out.

Has anyone ever used these and what do you pay to store your boat???

    RE: Boat Storage

I use a facility that is one large wharehouse - they pull the boat when called and after the day I just pull back up the drive and drop the trailer - they place the boat back inside - they charge by the linear foot 6 dollars currently - I pay $135 and change a month for an 06 SANTE - there is a look over done and sign in and out - if anything happens it is there responsibility

      RE: Boat Storage

I pay 45 a month near my lake for a 12X34 storage unit with a 10x12 rollup door. It has a gravel floor. concrete floor units are getting 70-100 a month around here. My 236 will go in without lowering the tower and it sits on 20's

We like having the boat at home, but we also rent a 12x24 indoor storage bay, concrete floor, 10x12 roll up door. It's on the way to the lake and less than a mile from the launch. We pay $75 per month. The rent more than doubled 3 years ago when the facility was sold to a new owner. For years the same bay was $35 per month. We like the new owners improvements, he added many security lights and fenced in the entire area.
