tdc, moving the weight would be less annoying, as I have been shuffling passengers around the old 210 for many years, honestly that was one of my main gripes with the boat, if couldn't have already guessed . As far as my boat hull claim goes, first off they are not exactly the same, Correct Craft did take out the trough which took some added tweaking, however I make that claim for two reasons. First I have spent a lot of time looking under the old and new 210, they are very similar to each other, much the same way the 220 is to the 230, second, when talking to Jim Buckley of Correct Craft, he said the same thing to me, the new 210 is the same as your old boat (210) just wider. So that is my opinion, I guess I just get tired of people saying that the new 210 does not even compare to the old 210, when it does, the 210 is still the 210 and it is still an awesome boat. There I'm done.

I would love to add my thoughts to this. Let me start by saying I have owned all 3 old 210, new 210 and 220 and have riden with them in stock ballast, rediculous ballast and surf set up. I've ran them all. Here are my thoughts on each, you decide.

        Old 210
Steepest wake of all 3, will buck you up easily, does have a noticible dip before/after the wake.
Does not take as much weight to get a huge wake as the other 3, (probably due to narrower beam)
A little side to side sensitive.
Does not need the ZR6 motor
Tight seating behind the windshield, (most of my riders are all behind the windshield).
        Good goofy footed surf wake.

        New 210
No dip before/after the wake, very smooth take off/landing
Not as steep as old 210
        Not side to side sensitive
        Good room behind the windshield
Steep regular sided surf wake, but huge

        220
        Great room behind the windshield
Very sensitive to weight, can easily be pulled down when cutting
Have to run at 24 to get a clean wake at about 85'
        Rounder peaks to wake
Not alot of dip before or after the wake
        Needs the ZR6
Monster surf wake, the best I've ridden behind

          Bigjackamo,
How are the goofy foot wakes on the new 210 and 220? Comparing back to the old 210.

          Thanks.

Goofy foot surf wake on the 220 is the best I've ridden, big, nice slope, everything you would want. Regular foot on the 220 is good, it is a bit less than the goofy side because of the rotation of the prop on our 2007 220. Not sure if the prop rotation has now changed in 08 for the 220 as well.

210 surf wake regual is crazy big, goofy on the new 210, not as good but again this is due to the rotation of the prop. I've yet to surf behind a boat that throws an equally good surf wake (reg and goofy). Prop rotation is everything in surfing.

Please if someone thinks/knows differently, help me out. Right now, me and my buddies have a right and a left rotation boat, plus everyone has learned to surf switch.
