New Boat - 211 or 226

Hello All-

Moving into the world of wakeboarding. I want a great family boat that we can grow into. We have lots of friends and our tow kids are into it. I was looking into the 211, but then the 226 has seating for 12. Can anyone give me some of their opinions, it would be greatly appreciated.

How about a 230 or 236?

If you're not going to ski, don't worry about getting a cross-over (211, 226, 236). If you're looking for capacity, definitely go for the 230.

I sat in the 236, and it seems like too big a boat for me. I'm coming off a big Whaler, and kind of wanted something a little smaller, with a good capacity. Some of us may want to ski, thats why I was thinking crossover (226).

I am coming out of a 211 Team, it was too small for my needs... but it is for sale in the for sale section! You can only fit about 7 comfortably in it

How big are the lakes you're skiing on? For most of the stuff I do I can't imagine having a boat bigger than my 211. But if you're on bigger water, go for the 226 (or the others mentioned).

I love our 226, the seating of 12 is aggressive as it gets pretty tight but with eight there is quite a lot of room. I wanted a 210 but the size of our lake forced a bigger boat, the 226 handles big waves quite well... really I just love the boat.

There is a noticeable bump at 32 with two people in the boat (she is a bit big) but wake boarding she rides smooth and has a really nice shape. I have never ridden in a 211 and I have seen them on our lake so I cannot speak to them, they do look like they would have a tougher time in larger waves than a 226.
