    226 Ski Wake

I know I have some purists out there, but my ski level leaves something to be desired. So, with this in mind, anybody ski behind a 226? My 211 is okay, but I like the 12 person capacity of the 226. I drove a 220 yesterday (no 226 available) at WL's demo day and at 32 the wake didn't look that big. If the 226 is a little better, it might be acceptable. If not, why is it considered a cross-over. Same question can be asked for the 236, but that's a little big for me.

Also, Thomas showed me how the Titan tower on the 230 lowers. That thing rocked!

Here's some pics I took yesterday:

I free-skied behind the 220 last week and it was ok at best. I skied 15off 30,32,34 and thought the 30-32 wake was a little softer than the 34mph wake. I currently ski behind a 99 SN and can run 28off at 34mph consistently.

The hydrogate made a difference - foward had a better shape but about the same size. I think I can get through the course at 30mph behind the boat but it would be some work. For comparison it skied about the same as a VLX in my opinion. The VLX wake looks cleaner but feels about the same to me. The VTX Diamond, a smaller boat, has about half the wake of the VLX and 220, but still isn't really a ski boat.

I'm looking for a boat that I can go ski behind on open water, cut back and forth hard enough to make my arms and legs sore, and have some fun. The 220 passed the test. I know that you are asking about a 226, but I can't imagine it is hugely different than a 220.
