    01SAN Ballast Drain Re-Route?

I was wondering if anyone has ever changed the empty pump on a 01 SAN to drain out the side of the boat instead of the bottom seacock? And if so what did you do.

I would ideally like to keep the same fill and then drain out the back top leaving the seacock closed when emptying the tanks and the bag I plumbed in to the front.

    Thanks in advance.

I have the 99 Sport Nautique and that is how I set mine up. I have a Tee in the inbound line the drains out the side of the boat. I used a 1100 GPH Rule pump on the outbound line. But you are exactly right, the seacock has to be closed. Mine works great. Mine is not original, I copied the setup off a 2001 Sport, with the exception of using 1 inch hose vs 3/4 and larger pumps. My inbound is a 1600 GPH - cranks !!
