Boat recomendation for Boarding and Surfing

I'm looking to upgrade from my 93 Sport Nautique. The main reason for upgrading is for a better surf wake. The boarding wake is fine and would like something comparable. I'm a goofy foot surfing, so that side of the wake is the most important. Year wise, 2000 to 2005. Model recomendation...210, 211, 220, 226?

    Thanks!

all of those are great boats

If you want a dedicated wakeboard boat go for the super air's. The crossover boats are good boats but they aren't the best wakeboard boats or the bestski boats, they do a little of both...

My familys 05 211 team fully loaded except no zr6 is for sale from this guy, www.paulseatonsales.com it is the red and black one, if you are interested...

I agree with BSbell. I would go for a super air series boat if you can. The crossovers might not serve you quite as well.

if surfing is your priority- then you might want to consider a 211 & 226 (havent tried a 220 bit i heard it was very good). the surf wake off211/226 hulls are fantastic and better than a 210 due to the length of the wake and the hydrogate (the 210 will have a super steep wake but the surf pocket is very short. it is do able, but the 210 is a wake boarding boat first and surf second).

i have a 211 and it throws a incredible surfwake for with minimal weight (we add 1800 lbs with 3 peeps in the boat- that is nothing compared to others). it has a huge surf wake and a monster surf pocket with gobs of drive is wake surfing is the 211 best feature of the boat !!

the wakeboard wake is really good too (the 210 and 220 will have a slightly) steeper ramp here... however, the 211 and 226 needs minimal extra weight to get a great wake. i am currently using 640 lbs in steel shot (pop products) on top of 650 lbs of factory ballast for a awesome wakeboard wake (guys running 85' at 24.2 mph getting HUGE air)

Nice pics!! That is a sweet surfing wave on both sides. How was that ballasted?
            What year is your boat?

i have a 600 lb sack in the center locker that is alway full for surfing. i have a 750 lb sack in each rear locker--i fill whichever side i am surfing. all sacks are plumbed into the stock ballast, giving you just enough time to shotgun a man soda while it is filling. forgot to mention that i also have 300lbs of lead/steel distributed around the boat.

clubmyke---gnar surfwake you have there! does it throw equally well on both sides?

its not equal on my 2005 211...

got a great starboard surfwake (prop rotation).. i get a good portside wake but not as good as starboard ( i havent played around with prt side as much, since i ride goofy- keep in mind i am splitting hairs). i suspect it needs more weight on the port side.
