Rear hatch wont open, 2003 SAN210

Hi there,

The left rear hatch of our 2003 SAN210 will not open, its electric pushbutton solenoid type. Is it fused? No fuse at the foot board in front of drivers seat.

Can it be manualy opend by a trick?

There are 2 wires on the back of the solenoid that tend to wiggle loose. Reach back there and feel around a bit, simple fix. You can open them manually as well.

I'm having the opposite problem. My hatches will not stay closed.

Has anybody ever replaced the entire one-piece sunpad that has the actuator with a newer 3 piece with struts?! Im beginng to dislike mine more and more

There is an older thread on here where somebody did exactly that but I can't seem to find it at the moment. It's not for the faint of heart but it is doable.
