I don't remember where I saw this on here, but someone had removed the rub rail and installed strips of metal on the inside of the boat on the hull to mount amps to. This person put screws under the rub rail to go all the way into the boat and used it to mount the amps to. Additionally securing the strip of metal to the bottom (floor). It seems like a great setup - although my local stereo shop doesn't like to mount amps to the hull for some reason. My question (finally) is how simple is it to remove the rub rail (medium skill mechanically)?
