OK, I've always had Digital Pro in the past. My new 211 has Wakeboard Pro, and I must say, I am not impressed. It is version 6.5, the latest as far as I can tell. I tried to use it to pull a slalom skier yesterday, and it does not have a slalom mode I can find. I had to set the speed at 32 using wakeboard speed mode. How do you adjust for the skier weight, strength of pull, boat weight etc? Also, this thing really throttles up in tight turns, making it uncomfortable for the people in the boat, and hard on a recreational skier behind the boat. I always drive in as long a straight line as possible, then make a sharp turn to get the longest run possible. This makes it impossible to do that without me taking over the throttle in the turn. Second problem, on Digital Pro, I could just hit the off button and resume normal driving, this version seems to make you go to neutral to get control back, can I get around that? I am really considering upgrading to the GPS based system if this can't be fixed, because I really find it to simple to get the good pull I desire. Any input or links would be appreciated.

RE: PP Wakeboard Pro, I
Wakeboard pro is a basic verson of PP and it isn't calibrated to pull slalom skiers in the speed mode. The only way to get a decent pull is to use RPM mode. In tight turns you have to come off the throttle a little bit, be careful though, too much and it will disengage and you'll find yourself very slow and pushing it hard to catch back up. To turn it off you have to pull to idle and select off, it is truly a PITA, especially if you've been surfing at 10 mph and forget to turn it off before you push the throttle in to head back to the dock. You have to remember that Wakeboard Pro is basically just a cruise control, if you want all the bells and whistles you'll have to upgrade.

RE: PP Wakeboard Pro, I
You should be able to reset the PerfectPass and set it in DigitalPro mode. This will have everything you need for RPM based slalom skiing with the exception of the magnets for course timing. From the PP instruction manual:
INITIAL SETUP - The display will guide you through this set up. Read slowly and carefully.
Your new PerfectPass system must now complete a short set up procedure to familiarize itself with your particular boat and engine. (This may have been performed by your dealer if factory installed)
Step (1) Engine Selection. On some systems you will be asked to select the engine in your boat. It will appear as [5.7L ^ = Yes]. This means if you have standard engine, press UP. For optional big block 6L or 8.1L, press DOWN
Step (2) The display will now show [read in MPH ^ = Yes]. It is asking you if you would like the display to operate in mph. If you do, confirm by pressing the UP key. If you want kph press the DOWN key. (We have selected mph for illustration purposes)
Step (3) [WAKEBOARDPRO ^=Y] The display will now ask if want the system to be a WakeboardPro or a 3-event DigitalPro: For WakeboardPro Press UP, for DigitalPro press DOWN.
Step (4) The display will now move into the Slalom mode, described in the next section.06 Air 216 TE

RE: PP Wakeboard Pro, I
OK I'm a idiot. CC gave me a Wakeboard Pro manual, so I assumed that is what I have. After playing around with the buttons, I found slalom, trick and jump mode, magnet etc. I just need to learn the new interface better.

RE: PP Wakeboard Pro, I
Even when running as a wakeboard pro it should still have slalom mode? I switched mine to digital pro then back to slalom since I don't need magnets or jump settings.
You can download all the manuals from the Perfect Pass website. They are also good at answering questions, just give them a call.
