I have just bought a 2001 Air Nautique and find the motor is extremly loud when sitting in back seat when boat is going about 15mph. the boat only has 27 hrs. has anyone else had this problem , any suggestions? thanks

what engine is in the boat? If it's a Python (430hp) then no mufflers, we just added the FAE to our Python powered boat, and it's a huge decrease in the noise.2008 230 TE-ZR6

Do you cruise at 15 mph regularly? I'm assuming since you said it was a regular Air Nautique that it is a direct drive boat. That boat's muffler is directly below the floor in the back of the boat. At medium speeds, before the boat gets on plane, it's going to be loud inside the boat towards the back. In fact, it's going to be loud at that speed in just about any inboard boat. This is normal and is a result of physics in general.
Direct drive Nautiques are the quietest ski boats on the lake because of their muffler system, but can seem louder inside the boat.
