07 SAN 210??? Why this boat vs Malibu V ride??

I can get a new 07 SAN 210 or Malibu V ride....I ordered the vride but the dealer is screwing with me. I didnt ever look at the SAN, so i dont know much about the boat.

Can someone help me see the pros and cons?

I may cancel my order if this SAN looks good.

with the pcm engine and correct craft quality you will be much happier. as far as wake goes i have never ridden a malibu, but from what i hear they have a nice wake. the 210 wake carries alot of energy which means alot of pop. it does take some warming up to figure out the wake, but you will really love it. get the fly high/barefoot int. auto ballast and you won't even have to mess with pumps or sacs. i just switched from mastercraft to c.c. simply based on their reliablity and that the 210's wake was tied in 1st with my x2. the new wake is good too. check out pcm vs. indmar ratings the last few years and you'll know what to get

thats because you are a dentist and cheapness comes naturally.

Just kidding. I have a Nauti and my bud has a v-ride. Great boat, but built with slightly less attention to detail. Case in point. His radio pops out and drops to the floor everytime we hit a double up. Just one of a few issues that makes me wonder, " what else?"

My 06 VLX was a POS

The V ride is like a stripped down VLX. You might as well get a Bayliner, a tower and some fat chicks. JK

CC all the way for me. There build quality, reliabliity, ergonomics, re-sale is unmatched. JMHO and I have had a MC, Bu and a CC

Malibu's are not even in the same league as a Nautique, so its hard to comapre the 2 boats. As far as build quality, Nautique wins hands down.
As far as the wakes go Nautique hands down and you dont need a stupid wedge hanging below your boat to get a great wake.
Resale- Nautiques are the best in the Biz.
Looks, IMO Nautiques are by far the best looking boats with the cleanest lines in the biz, not a bunch of bling to take away from the poor build quality.
Just look for old used boats as well, there are more Nautiques on the water then any other make out there, they are as good as they get!!
Cancel that Malibu, you will be glad you did.

I agree you can't go wrong with the resale value of a Correct Craft, look in the ads you'll see boats from the 70's built by Correct Craft that are still holding their value. I know more people that have made their 2nd boat a Nautique then any other brand. I can't speak to the specifics of a 210 but overall I don't think you can go wrong with an C.C.

How does the 210 handle as far as turning?

The Tige Z1 I drove steered like a bow rider and the vride was nice...I could turn it back around into my wake easily...not power turning mind you, but coming off speed and turning back for a fallen rider.

Also, this boat is pretty heavy, how well does the standard motor push it?

THX, I have to speak to the owner of the boat dealer tonight about them screwin with me.

The last thing you have to worry about the 210 is handling, it turns sharper and is faster out of the hole than any other boat I have been in, including my old 210 which it is bigger than. It really amazes me how well that boat can perform, go to your Nautique dealer and ask for a water test, tell them you are considering a Malibu, they will take you out, and after the water test you will be driving away with that 210 behind you. Another great thing about Nautiques, they never rattle at all, and don't even get me started on how great the wake is behind that boat!

Isn’t there a big difference in price between these 2 boats? For the money Malibu is a great buy, however if money is no object I really do not think it's a fair comparison. I was with a friend last year buying a boat and the CC vs. the Malibu was like comparing a Mercedes to a Toyota. Both great cars, but not in the same league.

honestly for the $$ the best boat out there is a mastercraft x-1. you can get it with no options msrp 39.995 and you've got a sold wake for wakeskating and wakeboarding or something to build off of as you progress without having to get a new boat. the drawbacks are that it is a mastercraft, has bad resale compared to a c.c., and there are a few little things too, but a pro level boat at that price is good. if you ask me all companies need to focus on a premier wake level boat at this price, and just make the bigger ones for cross over and stuff, but have the same wake as much as you can.

I imagine the dealer has a pretty decent discount on that 07 210 considering the 08 has changed quite a bit...

07 SAN 210 all the way

Correct Craft out of them all is the most solid and best handling boat on the market, and yes they do cost a little more, but with the quality and resale it makes it worth it. I drive for tournaments and we use Mastercraft, Malibu, and our 210 SAN and after driving the other 2, when I get into the Nautique, it handles so much better and is so much simpler and user friendly. Go see your Correct Craft dealer and he will take you on a test drive. Where do you live and someone on this website should be able to help you get with someone at the dealership.

If you want cheap go for a centurion or a Bayliner. Why spend 40K on a optionless, ugly, low quality V-Ride?

If you wanted to race a car on the track, would you buy a 911 Turbo or a Camaro Z28?

CC are not for everybody. They are for people who demand superior performance and quality, but you also pay for it. If you drive a Kia your prob not a CC type of buyer. No offense.
