Wow! 4100 sq ft. You can fit a lot of dental equipment in that space.

Pelton & Crane's fine, but watchout for the vibrating chair! Are you integrating technology?...and don't do the pelton autoclave.

Seem's like their is room to negotiate with the Malibu dealer. However, I wouldn't threaten unless you are prepared to walk. "keeping a gun in the house is uselss unless you are prepard to kill someone" Otherwise it might spoil the relationship down the road, which sounds like you are already off to a wonderful start.

Well you are on a Correct Craft site, so you are going to get a "BIG" nod for the 210! I owned Malibus for over 10 years and never had an issue with any of them, except a faulty gauge which was replaced and it worked flawlessly after. I always thought that Malibu built a quality boat and I have visited the factory numerous times as I live two hours from there. I had a 92 Sunsetter, 01 Wakesetter LSV, 02, 04, 05, 06 Wakesetter VLX, and then bought a 1997 Super Sport and had not ridden in a Nautique for years. I loved the 05 and newer VLX on the new hull! The V ride is comparable to 04 VLX which was nice, but the Super Sport (210) puts out a much better wake without all the weight/ballast. V ride takes 1800# to make a class wake. If I were choosing I would buy the Nautique without question if the price is comparable. Normally Nautiques are much higher and I would say on 210 vs. V ride the 210 would be higher. Just giving my objective opinion. If V ride has 320 you will not be happy! Takes the monsoon to do the job, no matter what the salesman tell you, I have experienced all the motors in last eight years from the 325 monsoon to the 340 and there is a noticeable difference. Good Luck on your choice.
If you don\'t do it today, you will be one day older when you do!!

The SAN has the 330 hp also...and is almost 800 lbs heavier....

Whats top speed on the 330 hp motor?? Looks like the 390 only musters 40...not that top speed is all THAT important.

Does the drivers seat swivel on the SAN???

SAN Drives seat swivels, push button ignition (no keys), top speed on my ZR6 aprox 41-42, pulls 10 people on boat+ballast up to surf speed at ease.

We run the Excaliber on the 210's and 220's and it has no problems even loaded down with 2000+lbs and 5 to 6 people.
                The 08 Excaliber has 343hp.

I have Excalibur in my 08 210 and had it in my 07. It depends on how much weight you run in the boat. I have a power prop on mine for when it is loaded down. The stock prop is fine if you are running factory ballast but if you add extra weight you may want to purchase a different prop. Top speed with power prop is about 39mph and with stock prop is approx 41 or 42mph. The 210 is made for wake boarding not drag racing. It is very rare I have my boat going over 30 mph. As for my opinion on which boat to purchase they are both very high quality, but the nautique will definetely have a better resale, it has been proven over the years. Especially over the V-Ride. I think if you want to compare the 210 with a Malibu you should be looking at A VLX not a V-Ride (size). I have a good friend that has a V-Ride and it produces a great wake with a lot of extra lead. Almost any of the boats need more than factory ballast to produce world class wakes, including the Nautiques. You are getting a lot more boat with the 210 though. There is plenty more storage and room inside the boat than the V-Ride has. Also the nautique is way better on fuel economy which is a huge plus with gas prices. Just my $0.02.

Its all personal preference, but there is no need for the zr6 in a 210 or 220 IMO, yes we do run the zr6 in the 230, but we are talking about a 47hp difference between the two.
We have had no problems in the 210's and 220's with the Excalibur 343hp and we run the boats loaded down with over 2k and 5 to 6 people in the boat.

                            Well,

The Owner of the company is doing a good job making up for his sales guys mistake, but Malibu basically threw them under the bus and told them there isnt anything they can do.

Well, F Malibu. And the regional rep of the upper midwest.

I told the sales guy I was buying another boat if they couldnt get it to me by today, and he said he would check on it.

The Regional rep told the sales guy he was giving him a bump to an earlier spray date because they were a new dealer and wanted the sale for them.

Supposedly as long as it was sprayed before the 16th Id get it.

Then the info was backed off and it was said that shipping would be the week of the 26th. I spoke to them and the sales guy assured me he was working on it. I was skeptical and said I would just get another boat and they said "it was in production and we had a contract, I dont know what else to tell you"

Monday the 19th came and they JUST started it...so I wont see it until the first weekend in June....possibly. SO that means BS when I asked about cancelling 2 days after the "order".

I cant believe Malibu would take the stand to leave the dealer on his own to make good, since it was a reg rep giving the info.

I would never have bought the boat had I known it wasnt going to get here this weekend. I had a SAN 210 sitting at another dealer waiting for me.

So malibu wont be getting any of my business in the future, and I will be shocked if I have problems with this boat, and they get taken care of by the factory.

I gave the dealer an out, so he wouldnt have to deal with me in the future, knowing how sensitive I will be to their handling of things, but he wouldnt take it.

So I guess I will have to wait even longer and get madder each weekend I could be enjoying boating with my wife and kids. I hope for malibu's sake there isnt any issues with this boat! Stuck now!
