I orderd an 08 220 from a dealer in the uk back in september for a late april delivery and have now been told it won't arrive till mid june and then it will need to clear customs and have the lpg system fitted to it, so by the time i take delivery i will of missed the best part of the summer now i think i should just get an 09 boat as dont want to lose a load of money on something i will only get to use for two months at the most, has anyone else had this problem and what can be done if anything?

i would just get an 09 and order it right now so you'll have it as soon as possible. personally i would get a 210. you could get an 07 and have the same as the 08/09 for less$$ and then you can get wet sounds speakers and amps or gas. but if you really want more size in the boat itself take the hit and get a 230. just suggestions from another pov

I was told it was a problem with shipping but have a friend who ordered an mc after i did and he has just taken delivery of it (it was ten days late!). surley if there is a problem with shipping they can use a different agent/company. wold love to get 2009 instead but have paid 50% deposit to dealer and don't think they would agree, i just hope it is still the current model when i do take delivery.

Get in touch with different forwarders... There are more ships on the route then a couple of months ago, so some new space is available, but it's getting full again. We could ship within 5 weeks and had the boat in time for this season.
I think it's a organize problem from your dealer. He already should reserved a place for your shipment in Januari or so! Don't let him tell you it's a shipment problem, it's his organize problem!
We bought our CC in the second part of Februari 2008, shipped it end of March and took delivery mid of April (it took a couple of days of organization/arranging/money/time from our side though)...230 with ZR6 running on propane

I would wonder if the dealer actually had your name on the boat that they promised - CC has a set production run and as the orders come in your name and specs are attached to a particular boat in the order - could be that the dealer thought one thing but had to wait for the next 220 that was not claimed.2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

i'd wait until about two months until your season starts next year and find yourself either an 07 or 08 and save 10k or so, but if they will get it to you within the first week of june i suppose i would still accept it, but make them buy you a new prop or something
