American Boat Center dropping Correct Craft?

Anyone know what happened to American Boat Center in Knoxville, TN? They have dropped Correct Craft for Mastercraft. Any word on who may pick the dealership?

Lots of rumors, but don't think there is much true to them yet. Personally I'm a bit sick about this. ABC did a fantastic job with CC and servicing their customers. I could say more but won't. Just bought a 210 from them...

Lets hope its not Travis Marine, I was never impressed with american boat center, they failed to return messages, and never seemed interested in servicing my boat since I did not purchase from them.

I guess I was spoiled since I used to live withen driving distance of White Lake over in NC.

I'm rather unhappy about it myself, I bought a 211 from them last year. Any idea if they will still be doing warranty work?

I did hear rumor that Travis Marine may pick up the brand, not very excited about that if it turns out to be true. I wonder how they lost Mastercraft?

Saw a couple new mastercrafts parked in front of there last Thursday and no Nautiques were on the scene anywhere. ???? Can't figure this stuff out, why give up one brand for another, not knocking any brand, but doesn't make any sense? :?:

American Boat Center will still service Nautique owners and cover any warranty work. They currently have one new 210 left on their lot for sale, that's it. I feel that ABC's decision to drop Correct Craft for Mastercraft was good for their business. ABC knows they are no longer selling the best boat in the industry, but they will sell more boats/Mastercrafts hands down here in East Tennessee. Mastercraft's plant is in ABC's backyard and I'm sure they will build a great relationship together.

I don't think anyone should get upset with ABC for this switch, its strictly business and I don't blame them a bit. I bought a brand new 210 from them before the switch and plan on still using their service department for any work I might need.

Travis lost MC because of poor service, it was MC's decision not Travis. I dont know of anyone who has made a purchase from them that was pleased with the service after the sale.

H2O - I'm the on the other side of the fence. I've never had anything but good luck with ABC. Best dealership i've had service me. Truly a first class operation over there.

Can't say anything about Travis. Never talked to them.

Damader - I have a guess of who you might be. Yes agree it was a business decision.

All - They can still do all the warranty work on CC. I'll still be doing my Friday afternoon work conf calls from ABC, but now i'll have to sit in a Four Winns rather then a CC. Hope they don't have a MC and FW next to eachother, might get them confused. Ok that is my last comment like that, still sad the best Dealer in K-town is not selling the best Ski/wake boat on the market.

Ryan at ABC was very brief but from what he said it was strictly a business decision, and there was no way they could pass up carrying the hometown brand. Its a real shame I they did a lot of really cool stuff and were promoting Nautique's in MC country, not an easy thing to do. They had a sick rail jam that they hosted pretty close to University of Tennessee's Football Stadium, pretty much everyone coming and going passed by a rail Jam lined with Nautique's, It sucks that next year it will be lined With Mastercraft's. Oh well....
