    210 wake for slalom

How is the wake on the 210 for slaloming? I love to surf and slalom but weighing my 216 is a pain and it has the wrong prop rotation for port side surfing.

TMB - if you still have my number give me a call. I bought a 210 this summer and have my 216 in the garage. Stupid in know. Nothing surf and skies like the 2000 Sport hull. I'm sure this is your complaint. Me too.

The 210 wake at 32 + is hard but managable. You will think you are behind a 22' Searay coming from a 216

If you're love skiing, don't do it. The 210 ski wake is not good. Tolerable if your willing to go over 34mph, 28 off, but still, there's not a direct drive boat out there which is not better.

As far as surfing, surf backside. What's the big deal. When you paddle out in the ocean you don't get to choose which side the wave breaks. BKH

            Tolerable is more like it.

Anything more positive than that, for a good slalom ski - no way. When we slalom we break out the slalom boat.

Crads and TMB - how have you been weighting the 216 for surfing? Lucky for me I surf goofy footed so starboard side is fine.

Crads - I lost your number. mine is 260.215.2785 if you want to give me a call.

Kozmo- I fill up 1 tank (whichever side we are surfing), place 1 700-800lb fat sac on back seat, place 1 450lb fat sac next to engine on side we are surfing.

I slalom behind mine all the time at about 32-34 mph. Is the wake bigger than a 216....obviously! Would you want to go for the world record behind a 210? Probably not!!! The question was how is the slalom wake behind a 210 and I don't mind it....JMO I would love to hear the definition of a "Good Slalom Run" I wish I could have a boat for each. Must be nice.

Have a few customers that slalom behind our 210 regulary usually around the 34 mph mark

Yes it is nice to have access to multiple boats.

They're not all mine, by the way.

I ski behind my Super sport (same hull as a 210) and it's an okay wake at 15 off at 30 -34 mph, but I tried skiing @22 off (or whatever the next shortest length is) and the bump was monstrous - as in un skiable by me anyways. I bought the v drive because I'm out with the family & young kids, so the space and seating is paramount, but now that I'm trying to run the course I need to switch to a direct drive...

Anyone want to trade their 2003-2004 196/206 for a nice, low hours 2001 super sport?

TMB - here is the best wake we have been able to get on the 216. still not as good as the 98-2003 sport hulls when it comes to a direct drive.

                          300# behind the driver
300# on the bench in the back
                          Starboard tank filled
                          150# in the walk way
150# on the starboard side of the bow.
Couple people sitting on the bags in the back.
Still a little soft but ok in size.

On the "oh he has 2 boats" comments. Selling one of them Aug 1, once we decide which to keep. Smoking deal on one at that time.
