    Electrical issue w/03' SAN

I've been having an electrical issue with my 03' the past couple of weeks. First noticed when we opened the rear hatch when the engine was off. The stereo cut out.... That was strange. Try it again, hmmm didn't happen that time. So, it happens once in a while.

Here is some troubleshooting I've done.
Seen voltage on dash low, like 10.5v
throw second battery switch still same voltage. Know second battery is good.
start boat, 13.7 volts. Everything seems okay. Alternator is working.
Turn off boat, voltage could be 12 or 10.5 arbitrary.
Check connections at ECM box in engine compartment and watched guage. No change.

Haven't gone behind dash to see but, suspect it's something else.

Sounds like a loose connection at the ECM box or possibly behind the dash. Also make sure the rear Nav light contacts aren't shorted togeather.

My 2003 would do that when the battery was getting low. The lower it got, the worse the stereo would cut out. I think if you just recharge your battery (ies) that would fix it. It did for me (Actually helped me prevent a low or dead battery as it would remind to charge it  )
