    Insurance information

Hi, I recently bought a '91 Ski Nautique. For the insurance policy my agent needs to know the value of the motor seperate from the price of the boat. Any idea what the approx. replacement value would be on a '91 PCM engine in this thing? Thanks.

Make sure your insurance co. knows that your boat is an inboard, that usually only applies to outboards. You may want to compare a quote with someone like ski-safe. Many times they will write a much better policy for a boat then your car/home insurer.

Brand new complete is around 5500 but I agree with NCH2oski It sounds like they think it's an outboard. Also If they ask it's 250 HP any more than that and the policy is for a high performance boat ( spelled twice as much!)

        Thanks

Cool, thanks for the info. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to my new toy.
