    RE: Re: RE: Don

I think my 211 just skyrocketed in value! That boat is awful, I don't care what it does. I bought a Nautique for every reason that boat doesn't represent. It actually makes me physically sick to look at that.

My dealer was telling me the SV211 is going to be Nautiques "affordable" wakeboard boat. He said it should be under $50,000 to start.

Everyone, I spotted this pic on a nautique dealers website and posted it up because i thought y'all would be interested to see it. The details are from the site so I'm assuming they are correct? I don't have any further information about this boat or any other in the 09 CC range. Regarding the styling of this boat, at first glance I thought it looked alot like a Mal and i'm not sure if I like the tower or not. I will reserve my judgement until I see it for real!

I don't disagree that it could be very easy to fold, very sturdy, etc. What I am saying is that it is UGLY! I'm sure they can come up with something that folds easily, is sturdy and looks good. Even if they bent that tower a little more to at least flow with the lines of the windshield, it would look a ton better. At least make the tower "flow" with the rest of the boat. It reminds me of the towers that were on the '99 MC X-Stars...they just looked like they were thrown on there and did not go with lines of the boat at all.

Maybe I spoke too soon and should wait till I see one for real but I have to say that first Pic made my stomach roll in a most uncomfortable way.

The more I look at the boat (NOT THE TOWER), I think it may look good with a titan tower. The picture is from a rear corner angle, which I think makes the boat look different. It may look a little different from a direct side view.

Nautique just needs to duplicate the tower/boardracks on the X-star...Hands down the nicest looking and best functional...

tower foldability should come 2nd to performance and eye appeal i think. i've never folded one in like 8 years. the bimini, board racks, and cover from mc are far superior to correct crafts as is the boat buddy set up

I'll agree with the board racks part of MC's being great. As for the towers....YUUUCK!!

                      RE: Re: RE: Don

It's definitley different for CC, but it's probably the stiffest most solid tower out there, it has a weightless folding system that reguires no tools. I witnessed a 60+ year old lady fold it by herself. There are 4 tower options though, so you can pick your fave. But I think once people actually see it in person and use it there won't be any option. It's also nice to have clear sightlines and nothing rattling over head. The 216v is still definitley CC, some really cool features, heard rumours of it turning into the 226 next year as well, once again it might help to actually see it in the real. Nice to see CC trying new things and giving us some new options, but still offering the old tried and true for the faithful.

I have seen most the 09 offerings from CC, its going to be a great year for CC.
I like the new tower, but that is not the best pic for showing off that tower for sure.

CC seems to be continuing this trend Ive watched since '04. They just keep getiing unglier and iglier.

I love the "wait until you see it in person" posts. The tower is disgusting...period. Luckily its an optional add on.

Yeah...Thank god they offer numerous tower options...I just don't get the "one person can fold it down" mindset. I personally don't care if it takes 3 people to fold it down...I want it to look good...
