boat buddy set up

Would never have a boat buddy on a trailer. Scratches the hull, and is generally a PITA. Leave that for MC. BKH

Still, when seeing any new picture of the tower, I think it's the "laughing mirror" (sorry, don't know the proper english word)-effect. Plain hideous thing.

But, it's not just the tower. Seeing all the new boats (CC, but even more so MC and most others) make me appreciate my favorite inboard-design even more: the 2001. Absolute classic...
80's Design just rocks.

Will this a 210 substrate or a 211 substrate?

About the tower.. The newer pictures are better! I would not order my new CC with this tower (or Titan), but I like CC offers us some options!

I like it. I think it's great and when I think of Roswell, I think of something "alien" and this fits the bill. It's not the only tower offered. I think CC still offers a few "toned down" boats, and a *few* that don't even come with towers. Just because it's an option doesn't mean you have to get it. Tower mirrors are great though, and I wish I had one. And if the "20 something wakeboard crowd will love it" then I imagine CC will be tickled pink, because (shhh, it's a secret) I think that's who this was designed for... You probably won't see one on a 196.... If you hate this tower you should hate the fact that Nautique even makes a crossover line (I don't, but if you're going to be a purist, be a purist, right?) Anyway, just trying to lend some perspective.

New 'upgrade' option for the tower? But still sporting the i/o hump in the 220, wow.

I would think if CC was watching out for the 20 something crowd they would offer a barebones wakeboard boat, because hey, not everyone has a rich dad. But as everyone has been saying it is an option, and options are great, but the $ squiggle just isn't my cup of tea.

It's not the tower that gets me so much as the very non-CC windshield and general boat profile.

2. does the 216v have a walk-thru? I like the lines, provided it's got an awesome ski wake (note: true crossover)
3. Is there an over-the-tower bimini option like today? I'm too tall for under-the-tower. The tower definitely looks better with the bimini.
