    ballast trouble

I'm having trouble with the ballast tank on my 04 204 air. It seems to fill when i drive the boat, however this weekend it will not empty. I can hear the pump working but nothing is coming out of the tank. Could it be an air lock??? It was working the previous weekend. Any suggestions on trouble shooting. I tried to empty the tank with the valves open and closed. Not sure what to think. Does the ballast have to be filled complete inorder to be emptied completely??? Any advice would be appreciated.

    RE: ballast trouble

I had the same problem, changed impellers in all 3 tanks and now they are fine.

      ballast trouble

Are the pumps that empty the tank located in the tank? I onlt have ballast in the rear of the boat. Will the tank have to be removed to get at the impellers or ar ethe pumps located in the hull?

The 04 uses aerators and flow rites, no impellers. change the flow rites out to TH or change the pumps to impellers like I did on mine, hit the search for my post.
