I have a 1990 Sport Nautique with a factory trailer. I am having trouble getting it registered because it was registered out of state and they do not have the weight ( not on title ). Is there any info on correct craft trailers that I could find the weight or will I have to dock the boat and take the trailer to a scale? Thanks for any help, Nick

RE: Trailer weight
Surely they use a range of weights to establish a particular class of trailer. I would find out what the ranges are and put the weight in the lowest range. They asked me when I registered my trailer and I took a WAG and told them 900 pounds, not a question or a blink of an eye, she checked a box and took my money.
It looks like MI has a range from 0 to 2499lbs, any weight in there and you pay the same fee.

RE: Trailer weight
According to the 1990 Sales Brochure, the trailers for the Sport Nautique were 1150 lbs for single axle, and 1300 lbs for a tandem. BKH2001 Super Air
