RE: Re: RE: Question about wake surfing and slight rant

Ha. Not interested in selling my massive wavemaker.

I was more commenting on saying surfing is a waste of gas. I am no longer able to kneeboard, do not care for wakeboarding, particularly, so I am limited to surfing, or barefooting. I may not necessarily like all the sports that people do behind their boats either, but do not consider any of them a "waste of gas". People can do what they want as long as they are considerate of their fellow boaters. Coupled with being landlocked from the ocean, I did not agree at all with what you said. Have you ever tried it ? People said that about wakeboarding 20 years ago too....

Whether or not this is a sport, should be done, etc is beside the point. Courtesy is by far, the most common problem all of us face on the water and this is definitely a question of courtesy.

That is pretty easy for you to say, dude, considering where you live.... I am 1700 miles from the ocean. I have injured my back and knee to where surfing is one of my only options, what am I supposed to do? sell my boat?
fair point, how much do you want for your boat?
