Super Air Nautique's and High Speeds....

Still trying to decide what to do on a new SANTE and have eliminated the 220 from the list now it is between a 210 or a 230.

I was wanting to know how these new Nautique's do at high speeds? (like 35mph)

Can they handle it or is it hurting it?

If I got the 210 I would get the 343 engine and if the 230 it would be the ZR6.

Any insight? The reason I am asking is several friends like to barefoot and they are able to get up around the 35mph mark but any slower and it is a "no-can-do"

I think both boats would be able to handle 35 no problem, I think the 210 would probably be a little better handling at that speed tho. The only time we had our 210 up that fast was during the initial break in, but it seemed perfectly fine to me.

35? That's just an average running speed going from start to landing spot and these boats are smooth at that speed.
If you don\'t do it today, you will be one day older when you do!!

35mph is not a problem for our ZR6 230. 45mph would be a bigger problem. The boat performs at that speed super smooth and handles great!
230 with ZR6 running on propane

Easy, if you are a hardcore barefooter and want to stick with CC.
          Choose the lightest on weight.
          Choose the strongest engine.

          Good luck

As part of the suggested break in, I took the my 08 230 to 5000 rpm, 45mph on GPS no problem... still a very nimble boat for the size...and 5000 rpm is not full throttle!
By the way the boat has 9 hours after this weekend and it is for sale. Check out the classifieds section for more detils.
