Anybody using an OJ prop for wakeboarding?

I thinking about upgrading to a new prop on my ZR6 211. From my last post, I learned that I should probably go with the ACME 1272 (thanks Mikeski). But, I was wondering if the OJ prop might be a good option. I ran across some threads that said if you switch to an OJ prop, you will see a change in the wake. I'm trying to find out if this is really true, and if an OJ prop might give me more holeshot as well as give me a firmer/steeper wake.

    Thanks!

Since I have had tested a few (6+) props on my 211 OJ actually sent me a prop to test. I was pretty excited since I think the Acme blades are too thin. Unfortunately the OJ was inferior in performance all the way around. I did not notice a big difference in the wake. I did take some pictures of the wake when I was running the OJ, it looks very small at slalom speeds if that is your interest.

I am running the 1160 as my "normal" all around prop and just ordered a 1234 for high altitude/heavy load, since the 1272 didn't spin enough.

hmmm. that is interesting. i was contemplating between an ACME 1235 and an OJ 475 for my new ride. i was leaning heavily towards the OJ because they will exchange the prop for you if you are not satisfied and i am very suspect of the longer trailing edge of the ACME's creating more turbulence in the wake.

Mikeski, tell me more about the effect of the OJ on the 211 slalom wake.
