can someone post a cockpit pic of a 2000 Air or preferrably a Super air. I am wanting a pic of where the guage for the perfect pass is. I have been trying to figure out if I buy it where I would put it. And if I have to cut a hole somewhere. Has anyone here added their own to their boat? Thanks

Caution, it is a very large photo.
It is also a 2002, but I would think it should be about the same for a 2000.

I'm so lost with these dashes... each one seems to be different! lol
Whats the guage all the way on the right opposite from the depth finder? And the full/empty guages for the ballast... arent they usually where your battery and fuel guage are???I Nautique, therefore I am.

Ah, you see I'm so used to seeing my twin speedo's that I forgot that the new ones only have one... (unless you count PP)How about \"Chales\"?

crotchrocket, I don't know what options you have on your boat... but I am guessing you don't have some of the extras like clock, depthfinder, air/water temp., etc... on your boat b/c there is a space, if you look very carefully, on each end of your guages for an extra small guage on each side. See? On the pics posted above, their small guages are all the way on the end of their dash, which makes room for the PP, or sticker. I actually don't think I've ever seen a dash like this one before... hmmm... Does anyone know why the dashes are constructed differently?
One more thing, I think, (as if this project wouldn't be hard enough....) you may have a problem with the "check engine" warning light b/c on yours it is dead center of your dash. On the ones with the PP or Sticker, its off to the right a little bit to allow the extra PP guage.I Nautique, therefore I am.

On a dash like yours, I'd just remove the speedometer and replace it with the Perfect Pass display. The PP will show actual speed all the time anyway, whether the unit is on or off.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. AbunDiga909: I don't have a clock or an air, water temp guage. I do have a depth guage but its next to my level guages for my balast tanks.
NautiqueJeff: I was wondering about replacing it with the speedo guage. What would happen to my hour meter then? I am guessing I could order a small PP guage and install it after one of the small guages kinda tuck it in on the corner.
Also speaking of Depth finder. I have no clue how to get mine to work. It always reads like 1.5 to 2.5 and I know the water is deeper than that. Does this guage have to be set somehow or is it automatically on when I start the boat?
Oh yea sorry about the dark pic.. I couldnt get enough light last night in the garage. I will take a better one hopefully today when I get off work.
