does anyone have any advice on the best place to mount them, and if you have any pictures of your install, like how you mounted them, that would be so awesome

      Blake,

I'm here to save the day!!! I just did the same install and it came out pretty cost effective and sounds great. I assume you have some holes for speakers in there? Maybe not, but if you do have the two up front, then they take 6.5's and I got Polk DB650's for those from Polk Direct. Talk to Russell Woolfolk, and they have a store on EBay, and you can get a great price there for them shipped. I took two "behind the seat truck boxes" that fit a 6.5 that I got for 19.99, and they came built. This was cheaper than I could build them, otherwise I would have just built them. Then I cut them a little slimmer so they would fit under the gunnel wall, and drilled them up from there. I didn't want them sitting on the floor getting wet. Lastly I would coat those boxes in Rhinoliner, or something to make them waterproof.
If you don't have the holes in the front you can get a holesaw and cut them in. I would recommend taking a stright blade and cutting the vinyl first, as it can tear if it gets caught in the teeth of the holesaw. I would cut it right by the drivers seat and one on the starboard. I also put a ten inch sub under the bow and the amps up there. I hope that helps. I believe you need a 5 inch hole for a 6.5 inch speaker. I'm not 100% on that, so you might want to measure it first. Let me know if you have any other questions, or want some pictures, I can get those up.
