'04 SANTE extended observer seat ???

I just got back from my "local" (2 hours from home) Nautique dealer where I saw a B E A utiful 2004 SANTE.


The boat has a deal pending on it and it goes against my principles to fianance a toy so .... based on that I couldnt afford it right this minute anyways.


My question is, this boat has an extended observer seat that almost completely blocked the passage way to the bow. The top part of the seat swings away to get through to the bow and that cushion is seperate from the corner one, if you get me.

Was this a factory installed item? If so, how popular was it?


Im kinda bummed I didnt get pics of it cause I DID have the camera with me.

I have heard of them on the 206, but not on a SAN. I'm sure it could be added though. Actually, it might not be a bad idea. I'd like to see some pictures.

Bare with me, I didnt take the pics or the seat ones would have been closer and I would have shown the back side as well. It didnt look factory to me so IM wondering who has one and what it looks like.

that's a 206, maybe the dealer is calling it a "Team", but a DD is different than a Super Air Nautique which are V drives.

I think he emailed you photos of a SN 206 with the "tournament seat" option. I have it in my 206 and think it is great. At first I was not sure if it was a good thing because it appeared to pretty much block the passage to the bow, but after using the boat I would order that option again. It also does a nice job of blocking the wind on those cool mornings. It is also not a hassle to flip the back of the seat down to make it easy to get to the bow. It is nice to get the driver and two people up there for slalom skiing so someone does not have to sit on the floor or dodge the rope in the back seat. The only real pain is you have to lift the whole seat to get to the built-in floor cooler.

Yeah, that's certainly no SAN. I have seen that seat in the 206 plenty of times.

Its all part of becoming an educated consumer and trying to make the best possible decision. And the dealer visit was sort of on my way home from a camping trip.
