    2009 Ski Nautique?

Considering ordering a 2009 Ski Nautique thru my local promo member. The promo guys typically order their boats early so I'm curious if anyone has heard of any graphic changes / color options for 2009. Thanks.

Yes there are some graphic changes.

The new colors are changes to the original chocolate color and a new dark red

      Graphics?

Thanks for the color updates. I hope that the standard graphics will be available in 2009 (the 2006/2007 graphics). I'm not that fond of the 2008 optional graphic pattern.

I hope not. I think it is a total waste to be honest with you. If they do, make it optional. Don't force us into an open bow.

You are correct. I did find out some information yesterday from a sourse within Correct Craft. Sent me the attached pic. The "belly" version will still be standard (yea!). Colored decks and platforms will be available.

anyone have a picture of this open bow? I hope they don't take the route that mastercraft and malibu did. That's all u see from them now. I like my closed bow!!! My wife things we need a open bow but not if I can help it.

CC has an open bow - it's called the 206! There is not enough room with the current configuration of the 196. I had a SNOB in 99 and 2000 as my promo boat. The interior was much tighter due to the windshield being moved 10" rearward and the engine being moved 4" rearward. All it did was cramp the cockpit for a playpen open bow that no one used. The slalom wakes were not as good as the CB and the trick wakes were horrific! Therefore, I can't imagine CC spending the research dollars to open up the bow area of the 196 when they have an alternative in their model lineup.

at this stage there is no open bow 196 for 2009... you want an open bow, get the 206. The coloured decks look cool though

Looking at the picture of the 196, are my ageing eyes seeing things or is, the bow deck area no longer a smooth flat surface and now has a defined depressed area. Don't like that as it looks a dated - Circa early 90's from a B52 boat!
Or are my eyes deceiving me?

I'm not seeing it. I haven't been this hard over a new 196 in a while.

I believe the deck with the depressed areas is due to the boat being equipped with a walk-through windshield. My 2005 SN196 has a walk-though windshield and the depressed deck. In the center sections of the deck, there are non-slip rubber pads. You can barely see them in this photo.
