Jonfo Nailed it on the head:
    - Rotary dial volume control on stereo remotes. pushing multiple times for volume up or down sucks.
    - RPM sensitive volume control like all GM vehicles have had for 10+ years. This would eliminate the contstant volume up/volume down every time a rider gets up/falls.
    - Design the hull so it isnt so side-to-side sensitive to weight placement (like my 220). Or, maybe put a balance sensor in it that would move a 100lb weight from side to side to counter it.
    - I like the garbage bin idea on the 220, it was a feature i didnt expect i would like so much. they should try to incorporate that into all models, even if it is smaller.
    - have auxilliary sack connectors to add extra ballast bags without having to plumb it ourselves. (but they probably can't do this due to liability reasons)

Better ballast system-such as the version MB is using on their '08 models. No pumps, big capacity and super quick fill and empty times.
This is something that you will have to modify if you want more than stock ballast on a Nautique ,Mastercraft, Malibu, etc...
If you have read about the "aftermarket" kit the Hifly sells for the Xstar, people are having fits getting it to work properly with all of the timers and safety cutoffs...

Also, tweak the 220 so that it's as stable and consistent on the wake as the new 210 and 230 hulls.

Put a volume control on the throttle knob, one pivot button, one side volume up other side volume down. If every car manufacturer can put it on the steering wheel CC can put it on the knob. When a boarder falls you need three hands, one to turn, one to throttle down, and one to control the volume on the stereo.

Exactly what BKHALLPASS said: Make the boats something that last and look good and WORK well five and fifteen years down the road. Today's cutting edge electronics are tomorrow's punchline. In five years every audio/touchscreen/whatever will be dated badly. What wont be dated is a quality hull, excellent upholstry, and GREAT build quality.
My 07 206 is the quietest inboard on the lake where I ski and all the hardcore guys are impressed. I have absolutely no electronics on the boat, but they still want to ski behind it. Focus on hull, motor, quietness, power, economy, build-quality and wake. The rest is...whatever. Little touches like the window locks...nice. Steps on seats, nice.

Like women, you can have the chick with the tramp-stamp on her arse, or you can have the classy stunner.

out of the suggestions so far this is the one I would like to have the worst. when you have people pushing their limit and falling alot I get to the point i just leave it down so you can here is softly when idiling, then you can hear them say HIT IT and go. Alot of people ask why I don't use the radio and I let them know it is not alot of fun turing it up and down every time someone falls, if you would like to do it go ahead. Then they understand.

Any post that has Tramp Stamp in it I have to be on. I'm in with BKH - keep them timeless. Look back from 99 and see what you've got and where who've gone. Cobolts are timeless, they just get more classy each year. I rode to dinner in an 87 Cobolt last Friday and it was just as nice as the 2006 I rode in last night to dinner.

I would like a boat that wakeboards like the 220 ,but also has the slalom wakes of the closed bow inboard.

The boat could be either inboard or VEE drive. I will not be that picky.

I did a little research about MB and their ballast system all i could find out was how quickly it emptied (very impressive) but does anyone know how they fill. Is it pump based or some other method which makes it much faster???

There are no pumps in the MB ballast tanks... Filling is just opening a valve and the ballast tanks fills. No problem, but for emptying you should always go high speed before the ballast drains... No go, imho. It's normal that you drain the ballast system in a no-speeding or no-wake zone... That is not possible with this setup.

How about a wake boat design that doesn't require a person to fill the inside of their boat with water. It is very counterintuitive to add water. It also seem that builders could make better use of the space under the floors. Some boats have center storage or ice chests, but there is more "free space" there. Multiple graphic options wouldn't cost too much more in the building process (cheaper than gel coat colors). Also, let's go back to 1999 pricing.
