How much energy does regenerative braking provide? Would it be impossible to drive a Tesla 220 miles to grandma's house on the freeway since there'd be no regenerative braking?

Porsche 911 gets 20mpg so takes 11g of energy to get to grandma's. My CC 211 is averaging about 3gph so 11 gallons of energy would give me about 3.7 running hours.

There is a dark side on the electrics. Enviromentals. Over the years the lakes will be closed for all combustion engines. Look up some German / Swiss / Austrian lakes, very strict regulations already. For examlpe "Bodensee certificate" read Boden lake, boats without this certificate are not permitted on that lake. Also to get a lake license on some of the lakes in that countrys, enviromentals are keeping the majority of those lakes.
As soon as those electrics are widly available, not permit for your combustion engine. Thats how some frontier countrys like to see it.
Cant see there will be a happy boat owner anymore.
