    Lights (for 211)

Thinking about adding some lights such as underwater transsom, roswell 4 lite bar (docking, cabin), maybe some blue LED strips under the gunwalls. What have people found useful vs a waste of money? Suggestions?

    Thanks,

I have some blue LEDs in my cabin. I went with these ones from Oznium for under the gunnels and dash - http://www.oznium.com/silicone-encased-led-strip and they work great.

I am planning on adding some more for the cupholders - http://www.oznium.com/prewired-superflux

    And the vents - http://www.oznium.com/led-modules

For the swimstep I am thinking about these - http://www.oznium.com/smd-bar

These would be cool for underwater lighting as well - http://www.oznium.com/marine-led-light

There are cheaper options if you good at soldering, which I am not. Good luck.

Your boat is just sick, Mikeski. That is a great pic.

I have 10 LED ringed cupholders, 4 tower speaker LED hoops, 5 modified stock lights, LED strip above the platform, 4 LED bars below the platform, LED strip inside the cooler, LED highlighted vents (still blue), LED storage compartment lights...

It is like daylight inside, freakishly bright. The underplatform LEDs are actually useful when the boat is on the trailer when camping, backup lights, use them to find stuff inside my clothes or toiletry bag.

I have two circuits, one for lights that do not interfere with night operation, one that lights cupholders.

Mikeski, Awsome! Are those both your boat just using different circuits? Where did you get your stuff from? Are you using any dimmers?

Great sites. Thanks for the links. What did you use for underwater?

Has anyone looked at or used any of these? Thoughts?

These guys have some interesting dimmers:

And for those with money burning a hole in their pockets (though they said they'd make a deal if a bunch of folks (25 minimum) wanted a 'Nautique' for the back of their boats):

Wonder how much of the cost CC would cover?
