That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I mean, the gauges are nice, but how would you STEER IT? That's really important to me, because I drive mine a lot, and steering seems like such an important part of getting the boat to go where I want it to go. I just don't think that trying to steer that whole boat with that much pressure and the control I need could be obtained by trying to twist that little nut. Maybe the '09's have foot pedals?????? That's soooo weird to not have a steering wheel. I hope it's an option.

People have been steering boats with their minds for years and you had better get on board.
How 'bout a little reverse action...

              New Nautique steering wheel

Oh, and by the way, I found a site online where you can order a steering wheel to add onto that to make it work.

                RE: New Nautique steering wheel

I think they are offerring this as a "cost saving" option. And they come standard in three sizes based upon the size of your hand.

I couldnt get anyone to take the cover off which was strange but the following photos do show the new tower which looks very substantial in structure and strength. It comes polished or brushed. There are two levers that unlock and allow the tower to lower with a really cool counter balance effect that lowers effortlessly. The tower speakers swivel so you can direct the sound. Apparently the sound system package with the team edition has an integrated lighting system that is directional as well.

The new graphics (not show) on this boat have something to do with wings. What was realy unusual, but I thought was really cool was the gigantic SAN raised lettering along the side. The letters were raised at least a 1/8" off the side.

The billet canopy shown is a very expensive extra that typically will not be ordered as it is not collapsable and would need to be removed if you need to lower the tower. Not sure what expensive is as pricing on the boat was not finalized. If you are fortunate enough to store the boat with out lowering the tower it could be worth it. You simply pull the top out of a little bag - drape and fasten to the canopy. The board racks were very cool. The estimate was around low to mid $60K.

Hopefully this is what you guys were looking for.
The estimate was around low to mid 60k. Where did you get that price ?
I have been quoted 71 to 73k depending on tower option. Is this out of
                        line for a loaded 09 210 SANTE?

I'm sure the price would depend on the options, deal or how well you are imbeded with you CC dealer.
We paided 61,900 for our new '08 SANTE 210 back in June with every option available & trailer so I'm sure the new '09 wouldn't be to much more but hey, what do I know.

On the '09 I do like the two lights under the platform and the flying wing, or what ever you call that logo, they've come up with.

Only way we'd trade the '08 in on a '09 is if we only lost up to 5g, which I wouldn't think is possible. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

That's not a bad deal with a trailer IMO.
