Mike, Yes I believe it is a 61 and the boat belongs to Art Cozier. He is supposed to be at the SJRR next week. Not sure if he's bringing it with him.
If you can't do it in, on, or behind a Nautique..... It just ain't worth doing!

My 67's hour meter says 1557, and no longer works. No idea of actual, but I am going to get the gauge restored and leave the original hours on it.

The sales brochure pictured above by squam inboards was given to me personally from Leo Bentz the originator of the Ski Nautique. I have many others in my personal collection and have submitted most of them to the Correct Craft Fan site. Mike

Oldest owned by a active PNer? Pete probably takes the cake with his Atom. I'm in the running with my 62 Classic. Its the 2002 Super Air that brings me here, though. I've now got a foot in each site.

Well not a Ski Nautique, but a scarce boat I guess. A 1966 Correct Craft Skylark with a Universal Super Sabre Buick 225 V-6 LH Drive boat. All glass, with the heel-toe throttle and gear selector on the dash, and yes drives from the PORT side! The first time my wife drove it back in 1979, she wanted to know where the brakes were! My family got this boat in 1970.

I am in the process of restoring a 1950 Junior Utility. I believe there is a 1948 Correct Craft written about on CCFan also. Both these boats are older than Pete's 1954 however since mine is not completed yet it may not count.

[QUOTE=TravisFling;93027]You know, it's pretty funny. When I got my title I got into a big argument with the state that my boat's manufacturer is correct craft and the model is a Ski Nautique 2001. The state that it's a Ski Nautique manufacturer and that the model is 2001. hmmm...[/QUOT

Same thing with me (mines a 2008 SANTE though) and I said it is a correct craft SAN 230 and they tried to tell me it was just a Nautique 230

I think mine shows up as "Correct Air". I guess that's better than "Incorrect Air."

I wonder how steering wheels on the right hand side became the boat standard?
