1998 Sport Nautique

Hello,

I am looking at purchasing a 1998 Sport Nautique and I am not familar with the slalom wake on this boat. I ski the course often behind 86 and 2008 Nautiques. I want to use this boat for skiing the course and for the family. Does anyone have any experience skiing behind this boat? Any comments or advice about this boat is welcome and thanks for helping.

My opinion, if you have no problem with an 86 SN wake, you're going to like the wake on the 98 Sport. The 2008 SN wake is going to be nicer to ski than the 98 sport. BKH

I had a 99 Sport and was very happy with the wake. I am not a great skier, but I had several very experienced folks ski behind my boat and like it quite a lot. Not sure the difference between the 98 and 99 sports...

Bump at 22 off, but 28 off+ it's great. Like BKH said above, it will be in between the 86 and 08 SN. The sport is a great all around family boat. When weighted it has a really nice wakeboard and surf wake.

Splash, 98 and 99 are same hull. 99 had true walk through, 98 had the playpen bow area. 99 has dash which matches top of hull. 98 has black dash. Probably some other cosmetic changes that I can't recall. BKH
