1972 Mustang Pics

Hi. Just wanted to share pics of my "new" 1972 Mustang bought several weeks ago. I spent one weekend cleaning, waxing and refinishing the teak. Already taken it out twice and it performs great. Everything appears original except the missing horn, I'm sure many of you have more knowledge on this, so let me know what you think. Engine is OMC 225 HP.

that is a beautiful boat! i've actually seen it in person a few times (parked in the grocery store parking lot across from lake jackson) is that where u first saw it?

Thanks for the compliments. I saw the boat at a dealership on consignment. I have always wanted an older direct drive boat and even thought about maybe an old wood boat, but I really liked the looks of this one.

Air, Great looking! Keep it looking that way! The OMC engine is a big plus. They were about a $200 option/upgrade. BTW, the swim platform is a add on. Platforms weren't available till very late 78.

Beautiful boat. I learned to ski on a 69' CC Mustang that my family bought in 70'. We had that boat till 2000, when we traded in for a SNCB 176. It was a great boat and I still miss it.
