I was at Adirondack Marine the other day and snapped a few pics of the Correctcraftfan.com SN Special edition and was wondering if you wanted me to post em?

Scubb, that would be inappropriate, and would really reflect poorly upon you to post the photos. The CCfan site has a reunion coming up in two weeks, and plan to unveil the boat at that time.

I realize that often on this site folks are looking for a sneak peak of the latest model from CC, or other manufacturers. However, this isn't about a manufacturer, or a business. It's a private group of Correct Craft enthusiasts, just like those on this site.

It is your choice. But, if you choose to post those photos, I'm confident that Jeff will have the decency to remove them. Jeff and Luke try to maintain a high ethical standard here, and I hope you will do so as well.

You're kidding, right? Why would it be inappropriate to show pictures of a boat that 1) they are allowing pictures to be taken of by anyone, and 2) the Adirondack Marine website has an entire section dedicated to the build of this boat, including pictures and videos of the boat (inside and out).

I am not kidding.

The CCF site also has photos of the build, provided by CC each day. Nautique Jeff saw the boat when he was at the factory in Florida, and even posted on CCfan that it was looking great. However, Adirondack is currently applying the graphics, etc. and Keith at CCF, Adirondack, and Dave Hendricks at CC have been withholding photos of the final boat for an unveiling at their Lake George reunion in a couple of weeks.

I'm sure that anyone who takes the time to go by Adirondack can see the boat, and there's not much that can be done if someone chooses to post photos on the internet. However, there are about 100 CC owners and families going to lake George for their reunion. Some are travelling from as far away as North Carolina, and Chicago. Part of that event is the unveling of the boat. Why spoil the fun of a bunch of fellow Correct Craft enthusiasts? IMO it would not be the right thing to do.

Will wait till the unveiling then. It is a beauty though and defintley worth checking out.

I would never do anything anyone on here would think is uncool so i will keep them to myself until they unveil it.

Thanks for keeping up the suspense by not posting the photos. I really appreciate it. If you’re going to be near Lake George the weekend of September 12-14, please come by Adirondack Marine for a test drive or pull -- we’ll have the boat running all weekend.

For those who don’t know, this boat is an all Crush Oragne (deck and hull) 2009 196 with a Catanium 409 (first ever in a 196), with a few other special features. The boat was built with fan input and the entire build was documented on CorrectCraftFan.com.

The boat’s revel will be at the 2008 CorrectCraftFan.com Northeast Reunion in Lake George, NY on September 12. To learn more or to join the weekend’s events, visit the Northeast Reunion page on CorrectCraftFan.com .

Thank you again for not posting photos before the unveiling. Here are a few shot of the 2009 CCF Special Edition 196. Besides the deck stripe and boot stripe, the signature of Ralph Meloon Sr. was gelcoated into the stern. I can also tell you the 409 powered it up to 54 mph.

At the reunion we put 8 hrs. on the boat -- just on Saturday. It's quite a ride.

That is badass! Love the color. 54mph is insane! I want an 09 with the 409 now! lol.
