    2009 210 SANTE Questions

I am thinking of ordering a 210 this fall . We took a test ride and this boat
is incredible ski, surf and wake board it does it all. I have two questions 1st
The new tower it looks better in person and it does have some neat functions.
I like the ease of lowering and the concealed wiring and the dome light shining
down. I don't like the Bimini below the tower it will probably be too low. I don't
know if they have a over the tower Bimini yet. I think the Titan is still available.
2nd the trailer I like the EZ Loader Illusion with 20" wheels. Has any one had any
    problems with EZ Loader trailers?

164 views and no replies. I can understand on the tower because its so new.
But what about the trailer? Does anyone have a EZ Loader Illusion trailer?
How does it pull with the 20'' wheels? How is it holding up ? Are there any
    options I should order?

I have a buddy with the Illusion trailer with 20's and it looks sweet, but it has some downfalls. It puts the boat way up off the ground so if you are going to store it indoors you better have a tall door. The other downfall is you have to go farther in the lake to get the boat off. If you want looks I personally think its the best looking trailer out there. It also has a ton of really cool lighting features.

I would think the pull would be pretty rough with 20in wheels. I may be wrong with that assumption, but you just have less sidewall on the tires to absorb bumps in the road. I would also think that the axles would take more of beating as well. Does anyone out there have any experience going from 15" to 20" wheels? Looking good going down the road might be worth the added bumps....

We have a 210 with the same trailer. Looks awesome! Tows just fine, but bchesley has is right...you have to load a little further in the lake because it is so tall. Same issue with storing it in a garage. Other cool feature on the trailer is that it has track lights in the middle. When you load the boat at night, the track lights shine through the water like a runway effect. I like the rollbar steps as well.

I have no problem with height of storage I store my boat in my pole barn with
12' door. I am more concerned with quality of the EZ Loader compared to the
Ram bln. I heard with the Illusion the boat catches the wind because its so tall
with 20'' wheels. Thanks for the replies

I have the illusion with 20's under my 236 it tows awesome. and the trailer is really heavy duty. Comes with quick transom ratchets and the 20's and led's. It was worth the extra money strictly for the durability and strength. My only problem is tires are expensive to replace(no issues yet on my end) and for the 230/236 the boat guides are too low with the depth you must use to launch and load. they were coming in uder the rubrail and i was deathly afraid the pvc may break and scratch the **** out of the boat. I had a sleeve welded in mine to make them 14'' taller than they were and it works great now an only cost 25 bucks to do at the weld shop. The new illusions(08 and up) use more straight up guide poles that are the exact same width as the boat so they have some spring built in. They apear to be kind of flimsy on the guides so I don't know how those will hold up. I pull with an f250 diesel and the wind doesn't bother me that much

Thanks for the info this is the feedback I was hoping for. I like the look
of the illusion but have heard of some issues with quality. I just want to
                get it right.
