I have an 03 - 210 and need a new cover. A couple companys are sellling covers with a bow cutout for the trailer stops. Wondering if anyone has a picture of one of these covers on their boat? Cant picture what it would look like.

The cover on my 210 had that too. It was very nice.

There would have been no way to get the front of my cover on while the boat was on the trailer if the cut outs were not there. I pulled that boat with the cover on all the time.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. The cutouts do make it easier to get the cover on/off when boat is on the trailer, although on my RamLin you can loosen (& even remove) the bow stop so the cutouts maybe weren't entirely necessary.
No idea if it would cause premature wearing if you tow a lot with the cover. I rarely tow with my cover and that happens only if it's raining.'08 Super Air Nautique 210

I have an Eagle trailer which the bow stops cannot move and you cant get a "normal cover" on the front if its on the trailer tight. But, its always on the lift so not sure if I need the cutouts. How does the cover attatch in the front so you can make it tight? Rope underneath, velcro??

I've got an 07 with the metal rub rail held in place by screws. The screws did wear through the rankin cover after one 500 mile trip, so I have learned to put a towel in between the boat and cover so the screws don't continue to beat up the cover. But as stated above, if I loosen the bow stop on the ram-lin I can get the cover and towels on and off without an issue - although there isn't much space to work with. Premature wearing is an issue, at least on the newer boats with the metal rub rail.2007 SN 206

Great folks...and great boat covers. I've had two now and love them both. And, both have the cut-outs for the trailer.88 Ski Nautique

I just loosen the winch strap and turnbuckle.....crank down the trailer jack and a space opens up....slip the cover through....crank jack back up and secure the winch strap and turnbuckle. I don't do this often because I don't travel with the cover on. I've only done when I know I'm going to park for a while and want to "deter" visitors.
