2009 CC 196 vs 2008

I just drove and skied a 2009 cc with zero off. This is the best slalom boat ive ever driven. Tracking , steering ,ride ...everything was awesome. I'm used to 06,05 and 03. Granted its bran spankin new , but it just seemed better. So here is my dilemna, I have not had a chance to ski or drive the 08, and I found one that thats for sale that I really like. Are there any difference between the two. Im considering waiting for an 09 now...

As for the mechanics, there is no difference. Steering, tracking ,etc. will be the same.

The 09's will offer colored decks, colored platforms, some stereo upgrades, and a new color, Furry Red. That's all I can think of right now.

SNMike, any changes to the side graphics?? I've also heard there is a "full throttle" option?? any rumor about 2010 ??

I "think" there is a full throttle option, no changes to the side graphics that I'm aware of, and absolutely nothing about 2010.

By 6 figures, I assume you mean 6 grand?

I could be wrong, but I dont think theres a huge difference between the 390hp 6.0L and the 409hp 6.0l besides the new exhaust manifolds which incorporate the o2 sensors and cats.

ZR6 is 409 hp with or without the Cat package. Cat package adds $ to the engine.

You are correct. ZR6 had a couple of bumps in HP over the last couple of years and now it is the ZR409 (409hp) and can be had with or without the cats. After having lived through a club boat from the other manufacturer with cats their first year of production I think I would stay away to be sure they get the bugs worked out.
