Nope VanDevere is no longer selling boats only vehicles. I am in the Columbus area and the closest now is Land N Sea in Cincinnati....

      RE: Pittsburgh Nautique Dealer Closes

There is a new Nautique daeler in Roaming Shores, OH. Not far from Ashtabula. Name of the dealer is Rock Point Marina. They are new to inboards but seem like really nice people. Hopefully everything works out and we can have a dealer that will be around for more than a couple years. I wish them the best of luck.

I live in Pittsburgh and just got my Nautique this year. I took my boat to Skip's for repair and was very pleased. They worked hard to fix a problem that was not their's in the making. I will miss them. Do we have to Astabula now for normal repairs? I'm new to the CC world but all in all am pleased with my boat.

I'm just west of Columbus and I keep getting referred to Land and Sea... I'll have to look for Rock Point... Stinks we have to switch every 2 years....

Sorry to see Skips closing. They were nice people and worked hard to make the business a success. Also took my boat to them for some mechanical work and was pleased with the results and turnaround time. Pittsburgh is a tough market because the boating area is so spread out among the 3 rivers and a few lakes here and there.

It's tough to sell 70,000 boats in this economy in the northern climate too - 4 months of boating (7 if you're really hard core) is not much when you're spending that kind of dough.

Isn't there still a nautique dealer up in Pymatuming?

I believe your talking about conneaut lake navigation. They ended up dropping correct craft a few years ago. But now vandevere in akron is closing, so is skips marine in pitt. Luckly rock point marine has picked up correct craft in roaming shores, oh (www.rockpointmarina.com ) This just happened within the last month. I got to meet them two weeks ago at an event they did at lake milton to get their name out. They seem like great people, I wish them the best of luck.
