    Ski nautique?

do they make a Ski Natique that is a V-drive? I would like to find a good V-drive boat that is good for skiing, and for wakeboarding as well. my step-son is a avid wakeboarder but we need to find a good comprimise for the both of us.

    any input would help.

Would also recommend the 216 Air.

The name of the company that makes our boats is Correct Craft. They are all commonly called "Nautiques". Ski Nautique, Air Nautique, Sport Nautique, Super Air Nautique, Super Sport Nautique. There are even a few Bass Nautiques, and Fish Nautiques but they are older boats.
Ski Nautique is a model name. Ski Nautique used to mean the closed bow, 19' 6" tournament ski boat, direct drive only. In the late 90's they also made a Ski Nautique Open Bow, that was based on the Ski Nautique hull, but the motor and cockpit were shifted aft, to make room for the open bow. They were commonly called SNOB's.
The 206 replaced the SNOB in 2003.
Since 2003, the Ski Nautique model name was available on 196's and 206's only, from the factory.
The 2003 to 2007 216 direct drive boat is called a "Sport Nautique"
There is no such thing as a v-drive Ski Nautique.
You can also get the decals from a Ski Nautique, and put them on a V-drive, but it is still not a Ski Nautique.
I believe the 216, 206, and the 196 are all rated and tested for use in AWSA tournaments. The 211 is also rated for AWSA class "C" tournaments.

I am not an expert, but I do know that Correct Craft built a Separator in 1968 that was a V drive setup. Actually a neat looking boat, I do nt know how long it was in production. For more information you can look at the reference section on the correct craft fan website.
