    throttle knob

anyone know how to take the knob off of the top of the throttle on a 2003 SAN. Looks like you should take the center piece off of the top first but I don't know what kind of tool you would use to do so. It has dimples in it kinda like a golf ball. I tried to just unscrew it but I'm scared I will break something if that is not the way to take it off.
    Thanks
    Justin

My 06 206 was lefty loosey and always loose. SO, I put some threadlocker on it and fixed that problem. I've twisted on it pretty hard a few times and it didn't come loose. That's probably what somebody did to yours if your not the original owner.

I tried to just twist it off. It turned a little but the more I turn it to the left the tighter it gets. Same thing to the right. Just a little play in between. My Malibu I had came apart in 2 different peices and this one looks kinda similar but I don't know. Anyone know for sure. If I was sure it is just one piece I can put an oil filter wrench on it and just twist it off, but I would like to be sure.

The knob on my '08 220 comes loose (to the left). I usually have to twist it back on once or twice a weekend. Time for some locktite!!
