Can you surf behind the 206?

Looking at either the 206 or 216 want a very good ski wake but our kids like to wakeboard & surf! Cheers

I've not set my 206 up to do so...but I've seen many threads where people have set up a direct drive to surf. Takes a few bags...search it.

RE: Can you surf behind the 206?

We have a '07 - 216 and we surf behind it. My boys (6'-0", but only about 145 lbs) surf pretty easily with the Starboard ballast tank full...and a hand full of folks in the back Starboard corner. But, the wake is not quite good enough for me to surf without a rope. (6'-5" 270 lbs). But, I think if I was to add some more weight, and make sure I was in some deep water, I could surf without the rope....it's really close right now.

Oh yeah it`ll surf. Untill a few weeks ago we surfed behind a weighted direct drive shallow hull moomba.
