Not trying to be critical, just pointing out what appear to be errors, which I guess are expected on a new site.
I am having the same color default on my computer when I choose what apears to be Fury. Probly just a technical glitch but no big deal.

Gotcha! Accent piping does NOT give Fury as an option, as well as the platform option. I was not looking at that because I chose the same color for the entire boat, which automatically makes the platform the same color.

You are NOT color blind.

if we are to believe that CC designs and builds a superior product, then how can the other lesser manufacturers crank out colored top decks while CC can only figure it out for direct drives?
I completely agree. I personally am not craving a colored deck as bad as most are on this site. I really think that the white in the crest graphic is accented nicely by the white decks. IMO this is simply a smart marketing strategy. CC will likely offer the full colored decks on the vdrives in the next year or two. What better way to attract buyers to models that aren't brand new designs (hull shapes, etc.)? I would be willing to bet that if you asked the right people at the factory...they would tell you that the technology/ability to put a full color on one of the vdrive decks would be no big deal. I would think that for a company like CC, R&D has perfected the colored deck process years before taking it to production.

As for the other 2009 upgrades over the 08:

        1. Would love to have MP3 hook up at the helm.
        2. FCT3 hasn't grown on me yet...but it's getting there.
        3. Underwater lights would probably just attract more alligators...a big negative for midnite wakesurf sessions.
        4. The subwoofer moved out into the open probably sounds alot better, but...Axl Rose sounds just as good to my elderly ears in my 08 210 as he did in high school in my mom's 1987 Cadillac Cimarron. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

I thought long and hard about a colored deck when I ordered my 09 196. The clincher for me was taking a close look at the white deck on my 05 196. What I thought was "perfect" was in fact covered with small scratches from feet with sand, ski bangs and who knows what else. If the deck was colored, especially a dark color, keeping it scratch free would probably drive me nuts. I ended up going with white.

j2 may have a point. As picky as we are, will we complain about scratches and scuffs on a colored deck. Many complained about maintaining teak, a colored deck would be much more time consuming. ER
